Aeolus, the robotic bartender

Aeolus, the robotic bartender who would come to your house and serve you beverages

The field of robotics is certainly booming. The thought of robots in our homes was only a few years ago confined to science fiction films. Things, though, are changing. One such item is the Aeolus robot, which was unveiled at CES 2018 and will astound you with its capabilities.

And it's because this new smart house robot is made to make our lives easier. For starters, it was created with this goal in mind, thus Aeolus will be the best aid you could have.

Aeolus is a smart robot that cleans and looks after your home.

Why? Because this inquisitive intelligent robot is prepared to sweep, mop, and clean our house while we watch a movie. There's even more. We don't have to get up from the couch since Aeolus remembers our favorite drinks and serves them to us.

To do this, it includes a robotic arm that can pick up a broom or use a vacuum cleaner as a modular accessory. It even has a function that allows you to reposition chairs, which is useful when you have visitors.

It will also feature a system that will allow it to recognize thousands of objects, such as our house keys, so that if we misplace them, Aeolus will assist us in locating them. His other arm, meanwhile, can grab any drink without shattering it into a thousand pieces along the way, which is a crucial feature in order to offer us what we desire.

Aeolus has the potential to become an indispensable part of every household.

And the work required to create this minor element necessitates a significant expenditure. That isn't to say that Aeolus won't be costly. Or so they claim. The team in charge of developing this intelligent robot believes it will be less expensive than a four-person trip abroad.

They haven't said how much it would cost, although it appears to be less than 17,000 euros. For the time being, what we've seen at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is just a simple demonstration, and we'll have to wait until a commercial version is available to see if it actually works as advertised. However, if its capabilities are true and it reaches the market at a reasonable price, it could become an essential component in the vast majority of homes within a few years.
